are bloody great!!!!
Picked up my new Open Pros, (36/32 spoke) with Dura Ace hubs and covered with Pro Race 3's, and they are a complete revelation. The difference between these and any other wheel I have ever ridden is remarkable, they run so smooth, no flex when climbing, they are lovely and light and the look pretty damn good as well!!
Thank you very much Mr Hewitt, you have done a sterling job.

have to say i agree with you. i got these wheels built up for me and i think you can pay double the money for a 'boutique' wheel that isnt as good....strong, light, look good and strong!0

I have heard awesome things about the Dura-Ace hubs with open Pro's - I believe they are bomb proof and most bike shops can service without much trouble.. Maybe get some pics up eh.. We all like to see new stuffs0

Not the best pics as my photography skills leave a little to be desired!!!

Those wheels look lovely jubbly. Especially the bit about bombproof.
What sort of price would you be paying for those wheels, out of curiosity... and potentially thinking of future purchase... ...0 -
Best place to go for handbuilts imo, nice one!0

Although a big Campag fan, I recently had an Open Pro rear wheel built for my 'cross bike - which runs a Mavic 8sp transmission - with a Dura-Ace rear hub ('cause it was about 50 quid cheaper than the Hope one I originally wanted!) and am very impressed with the build quality and finish of the DA hub. The milling-out of a gap in the cassette splines to save weight is a particularly nice touch!

I got the same but with Ultegra hubs a couple of months ago, and likewise, was surprised by how smooth they are.
In fact, I wasn't really expecting too much when I ordered them (for commuting), but comparing them to my Ksyrium SLs there is no noticeable different... oh, apart from £400.
I would also recommend handbuilts from now on.0 -

Got a set of these as well on a 105 rear hub and ultegra dyno front hub, not put many miles on myself but they did PBP with the previous owner, still perfectly true, running smooth and look like new. I fancy a set built up on Dura Ace or Ultegra as summer wheels, or at least a front to replace the dyno one.FCN 7

Now that's what I call a decent set of wheels. No worries, no hassles, ease of
maintainence, ride them forever. That's probably the only bad thing about them, they
last so long that you don't get the chance to buy new wheels every other year.
