Clicking Headset/Fork problems

Hi,
My headset or forks make a lot of clicking noises. It doesn't take much to make it click, I can be riding along at walkking pace, apply the front brake and it clicks, sometimes multiple times and it's worrying me. I know it's not the brakes because if I gently roll it into a wall, the same noise emerges. I was wondering if it was from a beating at Chicksands, but I only got the bike in October, and it has had a service since then. The headset is an FSA Orbit DL, the fork is a Fox 32, and the bike is a Kona Dawg Primo (2007). Has anyone else had had any problems with these parts?
Thanks, and sorry for the long post

re preload the headset.
how toos on park tools."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

tried that and all i get is a horrible graunchy noise once play has stopped. however, this noise was definitely not there before, so im wondering if all it needs is a good clean and/or ajdjust by a professional, as i can't seem to get it right.

sounds like it is too late for a service.
strip the headset and have a look."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

cos i cant do it now, when i do what should i be looking for?, busted bearings, seals etc?
and if it is broken, what would you recommend as a replacement/upgrade?

it might be problem on stem if you re using thomson elite
if so then you ll need to tighten the stem mounting bolt(where it mount onto the steeler08 Swork Stumpy FSR with 3 brains
"2Brains. A Singletrack Mind ", from specialized <<<suppose if the rider doesnt have one0 -
Ive got a RaceFace evolve stem, if that helps?
