Helmet problem?

I have just purchased a MET Inferno helmet as it was a better fit than a Giro. On the inside centre towards the back there is a small bit of the polystyrene broken off. I thought it may be where it hadn't come cleanly out of the mould and so does the LBS who said they see this often and it's nothing to worry about. They offered to exchange it but they were all the same. Can anyone shed any more light on this?

    i got the bell sweep R, medium, it does hold well to the head, even tho it doesnt hav the giro rocloc 4. anyways i only had a few bits of polystyrene to pick off .pressd it against the hanlebars a bit too much, once while holding it tho only a minuscule dent. yea basically its nothing to worry about, i bought mine from wiggle.
