does anyone know a Ride Around the Ripon area

I am away over in Winksley (Ripon) this weekend and i am going to do a ride for a couple of hourse on sunday morning, does anyone know of a good ride?????

    a off road ride, i have seen a ride called the Laverton Loop but thats appears to be all on the road. What i can find is that most of the off road rides are towards Pateley Bridge.

    from winksley you can do a mix of bw and lanes to get you up on the moors ie to grantley upto skelding across to drovers inn into dallowgill via manchester house and up to tom corner ; from there its over / into / across the moors on old drovers paths ; a big sweep bringing you round into wreaks lane above grewelthorpe ; then tarmac back to winksley ; plenty of variety ; 2-3 hours. happy to accompany you if you fancy it

    Sounds good, have you a map for this? how many miles is it?

    I went last weekend and it would of been good.........will give you a shout next time.
