Ok so ive got a 59cm head, which seeminingly makes helmet buying pretty hard. Most of the big manuafacturers make helmets in sizes like:

Medium 55cm-59cm
Large 59cm-63cm

So i fall in between, im right at the limit of like the medium Giro Ionos, and Specialized 2D and the large sizes they look like a potty on my head and are not soooo secure. At the moment ive got a Large Bell Sweep R, great but looks and feels huge on my head.

Ive tried Giro, Bell and Specialized helmets, Met just dont fit the shape of my head... can anyone suggest any other brands, anyone else had this bother?

Cheers, Mike...

I had a similar issue - medium 2D is too small, and the large looked huge on and didn't feel that secure. Irritating as my old helmet is a medium Spec. S1 which fits perfectly (the sizing got smaller with the Decibel as a medium in that didn't fit either). Ended up with a large Limar 104 which is a nice snug fit, with the bonus of being both lighter than the 2D and half the price.

Yeah I used to have a Medium Specialized M1 (the cheaper S1) which was perfect. The Giro Ionos fits, but only just, like down to the milimetre.

Fit wise the large of most brands seems to be okay-ish, but they look stupid! Thats why I want rid of the Bell..I'll look up Limar tomorrow night, thanks!
