Had my MG-1's about 4 months, possibly more but no more than 5.
Got a horrible creaking now when a certain pedal comes into a certain position (at the top, ready to be pushed down).
My bottom bracket is sealed and only 3-4 months old, along with my race face cranks (BB, cranks and pedals were all delievered and fitted within 3 weeks).
I've taken out my BB and put grease all over it and in the cranks, but it's no better at all. My biking friend, who knows alot more than me, reckons he can feel something wrong in the pedal and thinks that is where the noise is coming from.
I know they're great pedals and cant quite believe they could be the problem but what do you lot thnk?
Surely I must have a years warranty on them?? Brought them from HighOnBikes

bearings ware out.
most likely to be poorly fitted cranks or pedals."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I've seen this before in magnesium pedals as the metal is quite soft the bearing or bushing can "flog out" the bearing socket within the pedal body, and cause play which can manifest as a clicking noise or creaking
try borrowing your friends pedals and putting them on your bike, to double check its not something else, and if the noise disappears then its your pedals...and time to bin them....check out my riding - www.robcole.co.uk Banshee Factory Team rider, Da Kine UK Team rider, www.freeborn.co.uk www.eshershore.com0
