Paint chipping

Is it normal to get chipped paint on the underside of the down tube? What do you recommend for touching up?

    I think it's normal. On an ally frame I used car touch up paint.

    Go to ebay and buy some polyurethane helicopter blade tape. Stick it on the bits of the frame you especially want to protect (or indeed, all of it) and you should have no more problems. Of course, the a full frame job will probably weight about 80g more, ensuring your defeat if Lance Armstrong ever happens to challenge you to race during your commute.
