What a difference a bike makes

Wow. Today my carbon road bike has finally been converted back from TT setup that it was bought for, to it's natural road setup.
I've been using my 4yo, £750 aluminium standard bike for ages and never feel that i'm quick. averaging 17 on a hard ride. on the 3 rides that I have done so far, I have averaged 17 and 18.5 without pushing really hard. It's made me feel much better.
