Zeebrugge to Marseille

Hi folks,

looking for some advice. A friend and I are undertaking a cycle ride from Zeebrugge to Marseille in Sept for charity. Web site: http://www.downhillcyclists.co.uk


I am looking for input to safe cycle routes that cover the route we are planning to take.

We are planning to cycle the Kwaremont and Mont Ventoux just for the fun of it along the way. However, any advice, input or even sponsorship would be greatly appreciated.

if you are a member of the CTC, there are several Cahnnel to Med routes in their members only pages.

I used a variation of their Calais to Marseilles route and found it to be quite good. Ventoux - I too had ambitions to ride up it but as it loomed into view as I approached Orange, I decided being a falt lander was preferable ;-)

Thanks for this information. I will look into joining. As for Mont Ventoux, we have done it in the past and will see how we feel after 10 hard days in the saddle.
