HELP!!!
I have a Garmin Forerunner 305 and download all the data to the Garmin Training Centre. The Mapping on training centre is poor. I have heard you can either use google earth or memory map with training centre but have no idea how to do it! Can anyone help. Instruction for using google earth with training centre would be preferable. THANKS

to get better mapping in training centre you need to buy other maps

What i would suggest is you go download sporttracks , free and much better than training centre (but you still need TC for course and workouts)

    http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/SportTracks/

No idea why but when you first install it it defaults to not grabing maps from google as it needs them, so were you see your course in the bottom right, click the triangle facing downwards just top right of your course and select street :)

    then all is good :)
    Road - BTwin Sport 2 16s
    MTB - Trek Fuel 80
    TT - Echelon

hey dude - Motionbased.com is probably your best bet as it digests all the background info for you and puts it into a nice simple format with google maps etc. If you want nice detailed maps away from Motionbased then you need to get Garmin Mapsource with "Garmin MapSource City Navigator Europe"

here is a demo of the kinda thing Motionbased.com does. This is from my recovery ride today

Give me a PM if you need the maps

    - Download and install Garmin Training Center 3.4.1

    - Download and install Google Earth

    - Select the ride you want to view in Google Earth in GTC, go to View > View in Google Earth> View ¨[RIDE DATE]¨ in Google Earth...

    Works really well...
