Granfondo Charly Gaul

Hi,

Anybody done the Granfondo Charly Gaul? Is it a very serious type sportive or could 85kg climbers like me get round and not keep the stewards waiting at the end?!?!?!

    I've not ridden it myself but by the looks of the course on the website there are 3 climbs none of which goes over 1600 metres and it's quite short, at 125 kms, too. I imagine it'll be quite tough, Charly Gaul was a climber after all, but not mega difficult.

    I wouldn't worry about being last either as my experience of Italian GFs is that the field gets spread out hugely over the course, i.e. there are some exceptionally fast riders but also some exceptionally slow ones too.
