Hi Guys,

Me n me mate have decided to by ourselfs some bikes.
i got this on and me mate got the P2 Chromo.

Im not sure if mine just needs fine tuning or what but the gears are always slipping when i really put force down on the pedals, and it makes a racket sometimes aswel?.
its brand spanking new, ive only had it a day. it seems to me that the chains always trying to go up a gear when im riding.

any ideas??

take it back to the shop and get them to sort it.

do the gears change smoothly otherwise? or do they clunk, or have delayed action or don't index correctly? probably the rear mech not set up correctly

Ditto, probably not been set up right. Get it back to the shop to sort. If you bought it off the net then there should be instructions that came with the bike on how to set up the rear mech, its pretty easy.

yeah i got it of the net. ill have a look when i get home in the manual.
What do you recon to the bike in general. have a mad a good purchase?

The rear hanger maybe bent, ence the noise in the gears and also the rear mec
will be very close to the spokes on the wheels.

Not so likely that the hanger is bent, more likley just needs adjusting. Bikes usually do when new.

Nice freeride bike BTW.
