Got about a grand 2 spend, and out of ideas. Any 29er new, second hand etc will do any ideas?

why are you so wanting a 29er? I presume you've not ridden one, or you'd have your preferences. Seems an awful lot of money to buy something you've not tried.

Post Script: Have brought a Salsa El Mariarchi. EBB so can run gears or not, whatever your choice. Have seen them for £600 frame/fork (£150 off RRP). If you haven't brought yet, look for them.

    singular?
    http://www.singularcycles.com/bikes.htm very nice kit!
Also, you'd be better off over on the MTBR forums there's a dedicated 29er one and you dont get the idiotic responses that some will give about 29ers
