I'd say that's a bit unfair. Some Halfords and BikeHut stores are run by people who actually know what they are talking about, offer good advice and are competent with bike maintenence. Unfortunately the one in Grantham does not fall into this category. The mechanic in there once tried to persuade me that cable discs were better than hydraulic!

Haha being a Bikehut employee i actually want to meet that guy and slap his face :P
About the free £50 voucher you also get a half price helmet. like any helmet, you could order a TLD D2 carbon if you want and get it for £150. some of you guys could even buy a kiddies bike and do it. no limit on it as far as i know!
I'm starting to wish I didn't get a bike from the shop I work in! A Fury with £50 of accessories and a half price lid sounds like a damn good deal to me, regardless of employess' competence! Ah well, it's ordered now!

For gods sake, not another one, if someone likes a bike in Halfords just buy the bloody thing, if you can't set it up yourself and you don't trust Halfords handy work just bite the bullet and pay your local bike shop to check it over, that way you get the bike you want, how hard can it be
