Fixing Garmin Geko GPS to stem - ideas?
I have a Garmin Geko GPS, which is pretty good, if a little basic. I've always had a bracket for my handlebars, but I've switched now to some new wing-shaped handlebars. These are great, very comfortable, but my bracket won't fit any more.
Any ideas for fixing my GPS unit to my stem, or bars? Ideally, I'm after some form of tie that will keep it on securely, but allow easy removal (for batteries etc) as well. I've looked around for a solution, but not found an ideal one. Any help appreciated - thanks.

Could you truy something like this to make the GPS attch in front of the wing section if it would fit?

Good idea. I have tried a Topeak handlebar X-tender attachment. This works, after a fashion, but it is very big and clunky. What is the one you have pictured?0

Its one for PRO one piece wing bars that came up on Google when I looked on images because I knew about them but not their proper name. There looks to be a lot of differant companies making them as well.

I found an old light bracket, bolted it in to a spare mobile phone case, and slip the Geko in that. Not pretty or light but cost nothing and gives protection when off road.0
