Noob bottle cage question

I thought bottle cages all had the same measurements but then I saw this:

What's with the "5mm road/6mm MTB" business? What does the 5/6mm relate to?

I've got a hybrid (Crossroads) and I'm getting this bottle, so which one do I need?

    The 5/6mm relates to the thread size of the bolt.
    Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

    Well I never knew that ! How confusing eh ? All my bottle cages have been interchangeable as far as I've tried.

    Then again I remember handlebars when they were one size.

    Curse these marketeers.

    Well I've got bolts already in my frame that I could use but if I'm going to get a free set of brand new, shiny ones with the cage, I might as well make sure they're the correct size for future usage.
