Rear gear change stuck
Firstly let me apologise for the lack of correct technical references, but I bought a Lemond Etape last year (but have only got into regular riding this spring 
) the other day I found myself unable to change gear up (?) on the left brake lever, no funny noises or anything like that, now moves in a little way but will not shift the gear - did not want to force it in case I made problem worse.
Let me know if you need any further technical details
Any ideas - or shall I run it to LBS to get sorted.

Your cable has probably stretched. Check for slack in it and use the barrel adjuster on the downtube to get it back into tension again.0
