Like the Tour without the doping controls. Take roughly what you like and may the best man win?
Or is it just me?

    It's just you.

To be fair, they did catch the careless at Le Tour.

Perhaps no-one was on anything during the Giro...

Or the quality of the doping was very high.. :) - I like to think it was a clean race though. Or maybe they are learning not to wash their dirty laundry in public as it does not do the sport any good..

Well, at the Tour Vino was busted, Kash was busted after the Tour. Moreni and Mayo were busted during the Tour. I guess you can't really count Sinketwitz's positive as it happened in June but was announced during the Tour. Still, that's four riders busted (plus Rasmussen huckled out during the Tour). I would have thought there'd be at least one positive during the Giro. It could be that fewer riders are taking the chance, or perhaps it fits better with the world weary/cynical (delete as appropriate) view of your average cycling fan to say they are just more careful these days.

There was. Forgotten our old friends, Navigare, started with 8 men? Then there was Astarloa's stomach troubles, that were so bad, Milram promptly fired him.

That's so far. I wonder what is lurking around the corner? We had a load of "tummy withdrawels". It only takes a minute for rumour to become fact.

What about the bootload of viagra for one of the Gerolsteiner chappies?
It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.

The Tour is not that revolutionary. The only reason they nabbed Vino is that some journalists saw him stow into the back of a van, drive off, and come back to the hotel an hour later, on the morning of the TT. Then they ran a more specific test. Had those guys stayed in bed that morning, Vino would still be in the peloton. And so would Kash, then. Take out the Astana boys, and there's been just as much doping stuff going on at the Giro, just less journalists to make a huge thing out of it.

Richeze, Astarloa and Moletta's father's very serious ED problems equals the tally of Moreni, Mayo and the chicken. Clearly lower on the scandal-o-meter, though.

And probably some EPO in the toothpaste tubes.

And the staggering amounts of viagra does indicate it wasn't just for one guys use.

You do realize people have bad days even when they dope, right?
