Not a Daily Mail reader but this caught my attention. Looks truly horrific:

Authorities told Mexican media that Campos admitted to using cocaine prior to the accident.

Awful - a tragic thing to happen - and look at the comments made on their notice board ? Ridiculous.

Just had a peek. The Mail is truely read by morons.

It would've been a different story if it had plowed into some pensioners or Tories.

This was a quite sickening incident and, unfortunately, such things are all too frequent

On one of the other (non-cycling) forums I frequent, discussion of this event has turned into a massive argument, with one person in particular defending the driver against the cyclists, complete with diagrams!

What is it about cyclists that attracts so much ire? Well, apart from some of the twats on here of course, which I totally understand :D Still, wouldn't like to see my worst enemy smashed to pieces like this. Absolutely horrific, and some of the attitudes it has revealed are nothing short of terrifying.

Had a similar discussion on an email list of a former football team I used to play for following the road rage incident in Australia a month or so ago. The attitudes of some are truly shocking - yet call them bigots and suggest 30 years ago they'd have been taking their prejudices out on blacks and they get all offended.

it's a hard life if you don't weaken.
