Will these fit

Hi there, a newb technical question. I have cheap old sr suntour forks on my hardtail which is a Giant XTC 850. Can I put single crown(whatever that is) Marzocchi z150 bomber forks on the frame instead. Are they compatible and the forks will have 150mm of travel(again what ever that means) as opposed to the 75mm they have now
Why use brakes? Falling off is a much quicker way to stop

    they will fit but you do not want to do it.

    1 it will handle like a bag of crap.
    2 the frame is not designed for that long a fork
    3 frame will fail.

    would you reccomend forks for my bike then as you seem to be definite these are a no no, appreciate the response

    any 100mm fork eg rock shocks Tora. or reba if you have a bit more money.

    dont forget the bike is an XC bike.
