Poor State of the Roads

Its probably been said more times than I've had hot dinners, but the state of the roads in London is down right disgraceful.

I've just switched from MTB to Roadbike, so before I didn't really notice it, but now......DAMN

    Out on Saturday afternoon and was bouncing through potholed roads in Lancashire. It has got worse. There are that many that you can't avoid them. On one my computer flew off the bike and I had to quickly chase up the road to retrieve it. Then I lost my bar end mirror, then the pump. All this though crashing through bloody potholes. Best of all 2 miles from the end of a 36mile ride I get a puncture in both wheels at the same time and I only have 1 tube so have to ring for a lift. English ........... roads! Thinking now of just using my tourer with 28mm tyres for UK cycling. Don't think racing wheels are up to it anymore.
