Which Reba?

This August I'm looking to upgrade the Tora on my Fury to either:

Reba SL (Disk only)
http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/?fn=produ ... egoryId=18

Or

Reba Team (Disk and V)
http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/?fn=produ ... egoryId=18

Is the extra £20 and redundant v brake clamps worth it for the higher Team model? What extra features come with the team?

Also, am I right in assuming these forks from merlin cycles are OEM, ie no shock pump/ brown box job?

Does anyone have a link to a decent guide to fork removal/instalation or is it best left to take to the lbs as I've never done it before?

Cheers,

Olly

The Team has external floodgate adjust, as opposed to internal on the SL. Not worth the extra IMO.

I've been leaning towards the SL due to the cosmetics (no V brake mount) and slightly cheaper price, and there is only a 20g difference, but the RRP of the team is much higher.
And, the SL comes with poplock right?

It says so in the description. You could always contact Merlin to check with them.

    Ditto.

Was it OEM - ummm, I don't know how I would tell to be honest, it came with a manual I that makes any difference.

If its OEM it comes without a pump and normally in a brown box (without rockshox logo).

OEM is basically the version that the counsumer would normally buy fitted to a premade bike.

It didn't come with a pump so it guess they are OEM.
OH and yes I did get them from Merlin.

Definitely OEM. Definitely comes with poploc. Definitely no pump. Definitely a great deal ;)

I dont suppose anyone could reccomend a decent shock pump then?
I'd put the money saved from going for the SL towards a pump.

any as they all are about the same. just make sure that the guage is readable for the pressures you will want to be setting the fork to.

so maybe a low pressure guage?

I bought the Beto shock pump from woollyhatshop on ebay, seems to work fine.
£13.94 buy it now or you could try getting it cheaper by bidding.
