No i don't want some oil of olay!

I am about to start commuting to work everyday (11 miles) and wear standard business clothing. I will wear cycling gear to ride in and need to carry my clothes either in a backpack or pannier type system to get changed at work into.

I was reading an American website with a similar posting to mine and one response was to buy an Eagle Creek Garment Folder http://www.eaglecreek.com/accessories/p ... -18-40154/

What does anybody think of this idea and just putting into a backpack?

Does anybody have a better idea or product that they can think of?

Thanks in advance.

Just roll them up. No crinkles to be seen anywhere.

Yeah rolling as opposed to folding is the best way.

    Why?

I keep eight shirts, two suits and a pair of normal trousers at work.

Get the shirts washed and pressed at a dry cleaners near work who offer a shirt service, and if you don't have such a service near work just do them in bulk at home and carry them in one day when you take a break from cycling every other week or so (always a good idea).

Welcome to the world of wardrobe logistics.

Today I'll mostly be recommending this product!

Someone on here, or another place recommended the Pack-It to me. I've now been using mine for nearly a year and it's excellent.

I use the Pack-it 15, cost me less than £20 from an outdoor supplies company. I can pack shirt and trousers in to it, and sling it in to my backpack or pannier and not have to worry. The Pack-It 18 may be a little on the big size for some 20l(ish) rucksacks - check dimensions carefully before ordering!

I did previously try clever rolling etc. but found that the moment I took anything in / out of my rucksack (i.e. a laptop) all my hard work would end up in a crumpled heap!

IMHO one of my better bike purchases. Wish I could say the same about the Altura Urban Pannier it now goes in!
