this is going to a bit vague but....
I have been looking at http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/ and have noticed that a lot of bikes have protective things around the top tube. I've been trying to find some on the net as I lock mine up a lot and don't want it to get ruined.

Ay help would be much appreciated.

"protective things around the top tube."

These are I think usually on the "track" look alikes and are intended to prevent the bars (which swing more easily without any brake cables) walloping the top tube, rather than for locks/chains.

IF I recall what they are called before any one else comes along....I'll let you know!

Here's one - perhaps just called "top tube protectors". A quick Yahoo or whatever should find some more!

Think there's two different sorts of protector. Those that meagain refers to which prevent the bars putting dents in the top tube and then the long protectors that cover almost the whole top tube such as http://yancopads.com
