Which wheels? 105, Ksyrium Equipe etc?
edited June 2008
Can any one recommend a good wheelset? Mainly for "performance commuting" :-) Has anyone seen any good offers around the £150 to £200 mark? Need to do about 100 miles per week on them
Bought a set of these :-
for my commute. I actually had bought them from my LBS, who did a price match. Really pleased with them, much better than the alex rims they replaced.
Thanks, they look like a good deal, i will stick them on my comparison list
bought some ksyrium equipes myself recently. cant complain about them. try here.....

Look at the Halo wheels around £220, got a good review on C+ (look the the review section on the site).
Just get something reliable and serviceable - especially if you're going to use puncture resistant commuting type tyres. The moment of inertia of reliable tyres pretty much equals that of alloy construction wheels and so a bit of weight saving by cutting spoke count or rim strength is irrelevant. 36 spoke handbuilts on strong rims and regularly maintained quality hubs are the way to go.
