London Bike shops

Been living here in this fair old city a while now, and have been making do with cycle surgery and the odd trip to Evans cycles. However the corporate approach isn't really floating my boat all that much.

Any recommendations for north/central London bike shops with a nice range of stock and realistic maintenance pricing? Or am I asking too much?
