At last we've a rider who spots a good break, can hold (112km) to the end over major climbs and finishes 4th. I hope he shows such spirit and class throughout his future career.

Hahaha doesn't spoil it too much though as although I caught one or two mins of the stream earlier (literally) I was looking forward to seeing the highlights tonight but Eurosport binned it for the tennis....

the only hope is its on again tomorrow before the live race (if its even on) if not just watch the NRK stream.

    Hi there.

Send me a blank dvd and I'll post you a copy of the coverage. That was the best day's stage racing I can remember in a long time!

    Cheers, Andy

    You get it off Eurosport.....

I was seriously gutted that the highlights weren't shown cause the bits I did see in passing looked like a decent effort....totally missed ricco going for it.

Funny that - you had the cheek to accuse me of 'stealing' last year when I mentioned you could d/load torrents of free to air TV transmissions of the classics and yet here you are now offering to copy recordings from a subsription channel and post them to another forum member.

You're having quite a week aren't you.

    Hi there.

If I read it right, thamacdaddy pays his subscription to eurosport - he just forgot to set his video during the live coverage.

Or did I read that wrong?

    Cheers, Andy

ps Having a great week! A busy one, but a great one - thanks.

Yes, you have got that wrong.

It doesn't matter - look at the terms and conditions of yoursubscription to Eurosport and you'll see you're not permitted to redistribute their output - which is copywritten. Doesn't matter if the recipeint has Eurosport too.

Of course in reality nobody gives a rats rrrs, but I find it incredibly hypocritical of you to be offering copywritten material out and then accusing me of theft for watching a France 2 torrent of Paris-Roubaix 36 hours after transmission - presumably everybody currently watching the Giro on cyclingfans via Norwegian TV is also a thief in your sad little world.

By your own rules you're stealing.

Yeah - definitely a cycling forum - Steve does a great ride only to be pipped into fourth by 'the killer' and we end up squabbling over recording rights....

Fantastic ride Steve - those conditions looked bloody awful.

indeed, an excellent stage. Ricco had a little strop in the tent at the end when he realised he'd missed the Pink Jersey - it was shown on Eurosport over here.
andrewgturnbull appears to have go over his *SPOILER* fixation as well, so a great day all round!

Wow looks like you must have annoyed someone in the past there andy they surely went for it.

While he is correct in a sense you are also correct I have full sky+ subscription though unfortunately I don't think eurosport is included on sky anytime for me to watch it later on my pc....

its cool though I am going to record the live stage today instead and the mtb world cup later (plus all the programs that follow due to the fact ES can never deliver a program on time).

And it was a question at first place andy, can I blame being tired for missing the "?" ? hehehe ;)

    Indeed.

But you'd have to ask whats worse - calling someone sad or calling them a thief. Sad I can handle, but being called a thief I don't take so lightly, especially when you're also culpable for the alleged 'offence.'

Of course, you could always apologise.
