MTB rides near Reading

Moved to Reading at the start of the year and am dusting down mountain bike. Any suggestions for good riding nearby?

    Swinley Forest near Bracknell and you are quite close to Wales and trail centres like Afan and Cwn Carn

    Get out on to the Chilterns, loads of Bridlepaths.

    Check out the Ordnance Survey Explorer website for some of the posted routes.

    Hi there,
    There is an excellent bike shop just outside of Pangbourne - 'Mountain High'. They organise rides at least once a week, taking in the best of the surrounding area.
    Get in contact with the shop for more info (rides are free btw). Maybe see you out?
