A real disappointment. The only sport I watch and the only reason have Eurosport and ....tennis and even more tennis. Not even the bloody highlights appearing.
Rubbish. All to meet the alleged insatiable appetite of the UK public for....TENNIS??d.j.

Yeah, maybe we should all be buying a Thor Hushovd shirt, or a couple of Jan Garbarek CDs...Le Blaireau (1)0 -
Oh dear oh dear,We are all used to Eurosports patchy coverage of cycling with regard to start times etc but Saturday they really excelled themselves .Probably the defining day of whats been a great race ,2 mountains-Gavia and Mortirolo(Lance Armstrong said it was the hardest climb he has ever had)and what do we get-late start and the riders finishing their descent of the Mortirolo and all the fireworks have fizzled out in the rain.
Can Eurosport not at least give us a full highlights package later on in the evening complete with ALL the action, not their usual blink and you miss it stuff. It wouldn't be ideal but at least it would be a chance for us to watch how things unfolded over the different climbs.
I hope they treat the Tour de France a bit better or I will have to start looking for one of these motorised dishes and go all continental.0 -
Well I was about to have a rant at them not showing the crucial time trial today as it doesn't show on my Eurosport V+ schedule, but then checked online and at least they are showing the last hour (hopefully there'll still be riders on the road when they get to air anyway!).
As I have to go out this afternoon I've set the box to record all manor of random live sports over the timeslot that the Giro should be on!!0 -
lets not kid ourselves Eurosport is Taking the P$£s now regarding cycling,i feel sorry for all of us who ditched our Amstrad Sat Dishes when we got the European Version of Eurosport.its pointless e-mailing them they dont give a Flying F%*K. why would they any station who knows that cycling is the biggest watched sport in Europe on Eurosport changes their schedules to Show snooker - which is on the BBC at the same time oh and that other great sporting monument TRACTOR PULLING if you please.Cycling as usual over the last 5 years now has went downhill..why the hell did they have to change it to Eurosport, thats why we all bought into it in the 1st place as we cycling fans got sod all cycling on British TV.....decided to buy a satellite dish and now have the European version of Eurosport and a German channel who shows the tour. and RAI in Italy.best thing is its free you just have to pay for the dish.0

Despite all this I like ES - at least it's not cycling.tv, which is something to be thankful for.0

Expect the same for the Dauphine.
ESUK have signed on for hours and hours of more.......TENNIS....
Not only that, it's the Stella, which is shown on BBC.
Coverage, next week, is all over the place.
Somewhere along the line, they'll even manage to screw up a major stage of the Tour."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
I couldn't believe it today, got in to watch my recording and there was a 30 min programme dedicated to crashes, not even live sport! Then the cycling came on just as Menchov was starting!
Surely they could've shown 30 mins earlier instead of the crashes programme, especially as the programme seemed to be celebrating some rather nasty looking crashes in various cycling races.0 -
To make things even more insulting, the crashes programme is a filler that's shown almost every day. Good crashes though.0
