Hi
Recently bough a RockHopper Disc and im generally happy with it although i like to tinker and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for cheapish upgrades to improve the ride?
The front end could do with being more responsive?
Also i find it a really pain in the arse to drop the seat although this could be due to the bike only being a few weeks old?
Other then that any other secrets for looseing a few lbs on the cheap?

The Hopper is such a great value and balanced spec, it is going to be hard to make big improvements without dropping a lot of cash! Apart from tailoring the fit (ie with say a different length stem etc) and new tyres (most bikes under 1k benefit from an upgrade here, i cannot see anything that stands out.
I'd ride, enjoy, and maybe get better parts when the existing ones wear out!0
