i saw someone else did this with heathrow so thought i'd give it a try. i need a campsite not far from Calais port preferably to the north. as close as possible, max 30-40km cos my group would've already traveled a bit and probably got tired on the ferry. plus it may be getting on a bit if we take an afternoon ferry.
any help welcome, and i'm interested in your personal experiences of camping in and around Calais.

Nice campsite (it was a few years ago anyway) at Guines a few miles inland. Not stayed there but I understand Merck (something like that, anyway) a few miles up the coast from Calais has a nice site too.
Michelin's camping guide (possibly online by now) is a good guide to French sites and if sites drop out, it's for a good reason. You can see places with a campsite in the guide on the ViaMichelin site's maps. The artist formally known as boring old fart0 -
Try SangatteI've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0
