When it's not quite warm enough for just a jersey, what do you wear under the jersey and under the bibs?

Nike Pro Vest (and Arm warmers)

But if it's likely to warm up I just wear my gilet and arm warmers and take the gilet off when it's warmed up.

A 'tea baggy' type vest (Polaris) - sometimes two ! and arm warmers and a gilet.

If I can muster soemthing apraoching 10-12 mph then that usually starts to warm me up (well after about 7 or 8 hours riding)...............................

I always wear a vest of some sort even when it's hot, some nike clima thing for warm weather and some cheap lidl/aldi ones for when it's chillier.

A Howies merino T. I find merino works a lot better than synthetics at staying comfortable in varying temperatures, and with a T you can wear arm warmers and then roll these down when you get warm.

I wear a Sportful deluxe long sleeve base layer, not cheap but really awesome, also have a helly hansen dry when its warmer which also works really well. And arm warmers.

Tight fitting, long sleeved Cantebury rugby underthingy. Stows in a jersey pocket once things have warmed up.

very cold (-5oC to 2oC) = baselayer + LS jersey
cold (3oC to 9oC) = LS jersey or SS jersey plus armwarmers
medium (10oC to 14oC) = SS jersey possibly with armwarmers
    warm (15oC+) = SS jersey

This would what I do except I would use LS jersey + jacket on the very cold, haven't used base layers.

I would always wear a baselayer, unless maybe in the heat of the alps.

Nothing between march and october - I get hot enough once I'm pedalling (bit of a minger).

Outside of that a merino base layer if its cold, rainsleeves as well if its a bit colder and an assos 851 if its really freezing.

Any colder and I wear my car... wuss I know.
