How to get to the Gavia or Mortirolo?
hello all.. I realise this is a bit late in the day, but I'm planning to go to see next Saturday's epic stage of the Giro....
I know this is a long shot, but does anybody know how to get to the Gavia or Mortirolo by public transport from Milan?

You'll have to travel the day before at least. Take a train to Sondrio and from there a bus towards Aprica or Bormio.

If you're going down there, take your bike! The bike will get you around much easier on closed roads. And all the riding in the region is top-notch.0
