Giant FCR 1

Hi,

I'm looking to get a new bike which will mainly be used at weekends for 30 mile rides.

Have come across this and rather fancy it!

Does anyone have any experience with this bike? And would it be ok with a rack and panniers?

Can anyone reccomend anything similar?

    I've the SCR 2, which is more or less the same as the FCR 2 but with drop bars instead of flat. The FCR 1 will have better components. I find the SCR 2 ideal for long rides in the country. I've got a rack on mine, and mudguards - no problems.

    It's a great bike at a very reasonable price - so much so that loads of us have one.
