Santa-Cruz Blur - Bush wear???

My mate has bought a Blut LT (07) frame from Stiff and built up a sweet bike.
After a couple of rides (Literally), he noticed a small amount of play in the shock bushes.
If you hold the seat-post, you can feel a bit of movement.
I think Stiff sent down a set of replacement bushes which were fitted last week.
Two rides on, and guess what??? Same problem again!!
My mates gutted as this is THE BIKE he has always wanted, and this has taken the shine off owning an awesome trail bike.
Any Blur owners with a similar problem??
Surely this can't be normal !!

sounds like something is either bent or out of alignment.
send it back for checking."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I think you're right Nicklouse.
The reason I've stuck this up on the forum is because of the odd angle Santa-Cruz have got from the 'rear stay' to the shock.
I thought it may be a common problem rather than a one-off.
You'd think that it should be a straight line, otherwise putting extra pressure on the bushes.
Not sure if I explained that too well, but hope you know what I mean.
Thinking about it, can this angle be changed by altering shock pressure???
Could it be anything to do with the length of the RP23 shock??0
