Just bought my first bike a specialized hardrock sport. I just wanted to know what maintenance should I perform to keep it a1 condition. What tools and cleaning products do i need? and how often should i carry out maintenance?

Most of it should be covered in the manual, but generally do pre ride checks of bolts, and clean when dirty and relube.

If unsure I'd get a book like Zinn, and buy a basic toolkit like the Lifeline from Wiggle.
