Swaping frames.

What factors need to be considered when swaping frames?
Is it possible to swap everything but the seat post from a Giant XTC 3.5 to an On-One inbred frame? (headset/forks/bb are the bits I'm unsure about)
Also how much should I be expecting to pay the LBS to swap the above listed over?
Many Thanks

as long as the bottom bracket is the same size, steerer tube is the same or shorter (headset spacers then) i shouldnt think you'd have a problem swapping the bits over,
diy job wise, as long as you have a little bit of bike spannering nouse and the correct tools you'll be fine! also a good way to learn more aobut your bike too!
i would be tempted to use a new headset for the new frame though, saves having to remove the old cups!Timmo.

Headset could well be a different fitting, very wise to check.
Front mech too (top/bottom swing, and pull and clamp size to consider), cable routing and altering lengths, seat clamp.0
