Record Rear Hub

Looking to upgrade my rear hub from Veloce to Record, as the wheels I am looking at have a 9/10 speed Record hub, would this hub fit my 9 speed Veloce triple? I like my triple for what I do with the bike, lots of hills, so switching to a double is not on the cards.
