I probably will but only for the cycling side, hope there isn't too much "how you can use this in the boardroom" stuff.Planet X N2A

Dunno. Would be interesting.
After all, his rivals squads were all on goof balls too. He is tactically superior. It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0 -
Probably, but the product review using the word "winningest" :x puts me off0

I agree absolutely. He would have a lot to offer the ASO imo.Dan0 -
Shouldn't this be found in the fiction section, along with Landis's piece of sci fi?"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0

From someone close to LA and JB I had the enigmatic title explained 2 years back...basically Bruyneel named the book "You Might As Well Win" because he believed that the teams were all going to huge efforts, putting huge work into preparing to win, yet neglecting the smaller details and so Bruyneel was saying you might as well pay close attention to the last few finishing details , you might as welll win...havign done almost everything needed-the difference between winning and losing0

Good point dave.
Whether you think all the top teams were doped or not, Disco clearly did something in addition to make them winners so should be interesting.Planet X N2A
Trek Cobia 29er0 -
Or what Discatana have done 'in addition' to all the other doped teams? All those other riders are just not taking it seriously, probably spending all their time lying around on the beach - oh, sorry, getting confused with Contador...0

They have a good relationship with the UCI but I doubt Bruyneel is going to talk about that in his book.
It will be about weighing food and such.0 -
240 pages is a bit on the short side for this kind of book; publishers would prefer something over 300 so they can price the hardback at a reasonably profitable price.0

His attention to the smallest details have obviously paid dividends in the 'not getting caught doping' department.
No wonder he's the UCI's poster boy; exactly how they see the future of cycling."Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0
