There I was riding along the road and WHAM ... big massive meaty anti-social beefcake of a fly decided to molest me right in me peeper.

I think I'll buy some sunglasses ... I hate wearing them but it's better than what I'm going through now.

Can anyone reccomend a product thats really good at getting at fly carcasses that are lodged under your eyelid? ... I went out and bought some Optrex but the little git is still in there.

I think I'll go stamp on some maggots.

I ride in normal sunglasses on and I always have them on when riding...even if it's not sunny...my missus was always taking a piss of me, she thought I want to look cool and mean but we all know it's for protection against those little flying buggers...also I wouldn't recommend riding with your mouths wide open, unless you are hungry and don't mind eating dodgy stuff :)...go chain reaction for good riding gear...

    best....

I had a head on collision last week with one of those bumble bees that resembles a tennis ball, didnt sting me but felt like someone had shot me in the cheek.

I once had a flying beetle round the back of my eye and just kept my eye nice and moist and it came out two days later.
