Orbea Opal or Wilier Izoard?

I'm looking to upgrade my frame and forks and have narrowed my choice down to the Orbea Opal or the Wilier Izoard framesets at my LBS.

I have tested both and they are both exceptional bits of kit. Does anyone have any advice on which to choose?

Which do you find the best looking on the eyes?

Willier is very well spoken of, and i think they look a lot nicer than the Orbea's.

Saw an Orbea at my dad's lbs when building up and (no offense to those which have it), the tubes seemed really thin compared to the chunky tubes of the frame i was building up.

    Hi Bruce
I was always a Trek fan but when I saw the Izoard I thought it was a stunning looking bike.I went my LBS and specced a frame with Dura ace Fulcrum 1's FSA SLK chainset and Ritchey WCS carbon finishing kit.In 3 weeks I have put 400 miles on it and absolutely love riding it.I dont think you would regret it.Definitely a better looking bike than the Orbea

I was told last night that you can compress the top tube of the Orbea between your thumb and fingers. Not sure if that was the Opal he was referring to. Or whether that's good or bad? Personally the Orbea Orca is the best looking frame around but I have an Izoard that still looks good but is £300.00 cheaper. Not sure which one rides the best not having tried the Orbea.

Think the Orbea has a lifetime frame warranty which is pretty rare these days ?

What colour are they, if the Orbea is black and copper then it's decision made. Also they have been putting Miche Connect wheels on some of them that have orange hubs, phwoar......
