speedplay frog cleat screws

Excellent clipless system. Only one problem the screws that fix the cleat to the shoe( size 5x9mm socket countersunk )are very soft and burr easily. Does anybody kindly know where I can get replacements. Speedplay do not appear to sell them .The normal spd screw heads are a fraction too wide and do not sit flush.

    I went to a local screw/widget manufacturer and got some. Look in the yellow pages for that kind of thing. Take one along and ask if they have any more.

    What I found though was the head of the speedplay screws was slightly different to the ones I got. The speedplay instructions with them states you must use speedplay screws and the manufacturer noticed they were a bit nonstandard. Like you said with the spd ones they do not sit flush. Not perfect but as close as I could find.
