I have dart 2's, factory version, so they have 100mm travel, rebound and lockout. I was going to upgrade to TORA's, will i notice much difference or should i wait till i get some more cash and go for something more pricey, i'm after a all-mountain type fork, adjustable travel, that sort of thing.

What bike is your new fork for?

Its for a Commencal CombiDisc. Thats why i was thinking a TORA, coz i could adjust it from 80mm to 130 mm travel.

The Toras are a great fork and available in many different guises. May I ask is there anything wrong at the moment with your current Dart fork? I would wear them out first tbh

All mountain forks will have more travel so you have to find out if your frames' geometry can handle them.

    What bike are they for?
EDIT: whilst posting splasher beat me to it

Tora is a better fork, but won't be any lighter. But for 140 quid, would make a worthwhile upgrade if the dart is letting you down.

I think the Combi is covered upto 120mm, but do check.

My current forks are fine, at the moment, got no complaints with them as such, but i intend to run them into the ground, then upgrade around august/september time. I've looked at the TORA (the coil/air versions), and they seem good for my price range and style of riding.

They both are good. Recon will save weight, Reba even more, and Rev is the choice of med travel for light weight. But the Tora punches high, and in 318 u turn form is only marginally heavier than the Rev uturn for a lot less money.
