ok so since being diagnosed with quite serious medical condition and co insiding with my bike collapsing i took 5 months off cycling whilst i was rebuildign my bike

however after getting back on my bike this week it makes you wonder how there are not more accidents than there actually are

cars overtaking on blind bends down country lanes and then shouting obscenaties to me, bibbing horns, and even swerving at last minute cos didnt see me

the roads are a dangerous place

Maybe this is just a bad week for you? I can go for weeks on end with no incidents at all, then I might suddenly find I have several near misses/people yelling at me for no reason in the space of a few days. Well done for getting back on the bike - hopefully things will get better soon!
