Ijmuiden ferry terminal

Has anyone gone across the sluice gates at ijmuiden to pick up the LF1 route north bound, is it possible is there a bike path etc

    Yes, we have ridden across the sluice gates at Ijmuiden ,it's actually quite interesting with all the locks. From memory I can recall a bike path and there isn't one marked on the map.

    The alternative is going inland and crossing using the small car ferry at Velsen Zuid, you will pick up the LF1 there.
