i am mat i live in new ferry and i am looking to get some decent routes for some mtbing.... i am kinda new and far too fat and i have just got a bike... if there are any local groups or local people who can show me the ropes i would be exstatic...

google earth can be a help for local routes you never knew about, it's free too.0

Put your postcode in these, if you are from the wirral? there is some great routes like the wirral way and some good circles of the whole of the wirral.
