Campag Centaur BB - WTF?

I am fitting a Centaur bottom bracket, and the Campag manual says to insert the cartridge from the left hand side of the frame, as opposed to the other side for Veloce and lower spec. Yet the fixed cup on the cartridge has "Right" marked on it. It is an Italian thread so the cartridge will fit both sides, is the manual correct or have they made a mis-print?

If it's the black centaur BB that uses the same tool as the chainblock, i fit mine by putting in the RH side cap then putting in the main body (cartridge) from the left, then fitting the LH side. Torque up right, torque up left. Never had any problems. Mine is english thread though but I can't see it making a difference.0

Can't see that it really makes a difference whether you put the RIGHT (flanged) cup in along with the cartridge from the RIGHT side, or just the cup alone then slide the cartridge in from the left..
Either way the fixed/flanged cup marked RIGHT goes on the right hand side/drive side of the shell, as shown in the instructions. Picture 1 page 21 in my booklet.
Only the 'right hand support' will 'tighten snuggly' against the RH shell face, the other would turn on in..
So I think the manual is correct but you may have mis-understood it Joe? It makes sense if you pull both cups off the cartridge, but is misleading if the fixed cup stays on the cartridge as per normal - 'cause then it goes in from the right!0
