My new build and some Epic thanks

Well finally after 8 months I have my new Pedalforce ZX3 built, and I have the most enormous smile. I have put some photos at the link below

http://picasaweb.google.com/justyncrane/PedalforceZX3/
(Don't ask, but I can't get html to turn on for these forums or the tags to work, damn it!)

The build is as follows:

PF ZX3 f&f
Cane Creek IS2 headset
Fulcrum 3 wheelset
Centaur 06 ergos, brakes & cassette
Centaur 07 rear mech with Kcnc red wheels
Chorus front mech
Truvativ Rouleur Carbon Triple
P-X Ti seat and P-X handlebars
Pro Stem
Thomson Elite seatpost

Frankly it rocks, I flew up hills tonight on a 30min blast that are usually a slog and it just seemed to constantly accelerate underneath me. The stiffness of the frame and the lack of road buzz was great. Big smiles all round, WOOHOO.

Also many a time when a company is mentioned it is because they have done something wrong. Well I would just like to say a big thanks to Epic Cycles for being helpful, courteous and supplying me with tea. I was there for over two hours this afternoon while they fitted me, let me test ride the bike to check I was happy and then fine tuned the drivetrain. If it had been shopping with the wife I might have been grouchy but not in a bike shop...Maybe I've been unlucky in the past with shops but it makes a refreshing change.

WOW !! Too good to risk out on the road, polish it and hang it on your wall :D
I have the same saddle, that is about as close as my bike gets to yours :D
He is not the messiah, he is a very naughty boy !!

If I did hang it on the wall the wife would probaly kill me (although I did consider it). I reckon it has taken the best part of two years to acquire all parts, it took 8 months to get the frame back from Vegas.

So polishing and never riding it is not an option....

I had a Kcnc big red stem lined up as well but it turned out to be 20mm too short, so I need to figure out what to do with that now....

I also was wondering about some red/sliver decals to pull the wheels, frame and accessories togther.

That looks fantastic - love the lack of advertising on that frame.

Thanks for the comments, rather than replacing a new stem I might just get some spray paint and add a red design on the side and front of the stem.
