I drink lucozade sport and seem to be OK with it, especially if I'm away touring

The normal stuff gives me teribble stomach cramps, plus the note on the bottle that if spilt can stain permanently, what does it do to your insides then??

My Mum used to give it to me when I had the sh*ts. I liked the taste, but I'm not sure about any food that's made by a drugs company...

    Chemical companies really......

i reckon if we paid attention to the packaging, most of us would be amazed at the number of foodstuffs made by drugs/chemical companies....

Proctor and Gamble make pringles, unilevel make flora marg, slimfast, hellmans mayo, knorr stuffs, lipton drinks, heartbrand icecreams (like magnums and cornettos), as you know GSK make lucozade, along with Ribena and horlicks.

    Can't escape!

I know the basic stuff is chock full of simple sugar, so not really great unless you want a massive sugar rush / crash.

Got two bottles currently on the go, only cause at some point I need them. Gives my blood sugars a boost when they drop too low, when back to a safe level I add proper food to the mix.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

A good reason to not use Lucozade is that the makers give loads of money to the Republican party in the states....

Lucozade sport has kept me fueled for half marathons and training. I prefer it over normal lucozade, which I don't like.

I'm looking for a less "corporate" alternative. Will be trying Torq soon.

The taste and smell of the "normal" stuff gives me 'orrible reminder of hospital 45 years ago! Still *sport* stuff OK. But I'd rather eat a banana washed down with water.
