I had a mare of a job changing my disc on Friday. The bolts were well and truly happy where they were. They stripped before they were anywhere near coming loose.
In the end, I resorted to getting a socket that nearly fitted over the bolt heads, and hammering it onto the bolt head. Once that was in place, I used a rubber mallet to whack the ratchet anti-clockwise to crack (loosen) the bolt.
That did the trick.

Also be aware that there are 2 types of bolt used to hold a rotor onto the hub, regular hex (Allen key ) & Torx bolts (Star shaped)
